Every year I put my shoulders under at least one
new start-up. On average, I spend three to four months per year on a
start-up team. I love the process of creating, starting a project
from scratch, building something.
I cherish those old-school
brainstorm sessions. Sitting around the table with the team, a clean
whiteboard in the center of the room, and let the constructive energy
flow. Balling ideas back and forth, running the numbers on various
alternatives. It is a fantastic experience to finally lift-off on
launch day. The days and weeks that follow are usually hectic but
exciting. Even thinking about it motivates me for next year's
start-up!
